Invisalign clear aligners

Clear aligners shaped around your life, planned and checked here rather than by post.

Aligners suit some cases and not others. If yours is one where fixed braces would give a better result, we will say so rather than sell you the treatment you came in asking about.

The single biggest factor in how well aligners work is how many hours a day they are actually worn. We will be straight with you about that at the start.

What happens

How a visit actually goes.

  1. 01

    A consultation and a scan

We look at how your teeth actually meet, not just how they look, and tell you honestly whether aligners are the right tool for it.

  2. 02

You see the plan before you commit

The plan shows the movement step by step and roughly how long it will take, so you know what you are agreeing to.

  3. 03

    Aligners, changed on a schedule

You wear each set for the time we agree and swap to the next. They come out to eat and to brush.

  4. 04

    Short check-ins

Most visits are quick. We are checking that the teeth are tracking the plan, and adjusting if they are not.

What it costs

The honest answer on price.

We do not publish a single figure for this, because the number depends on what your case actually needs. Here is what moves it.

  • How far the teeth have to move, which sets how many sets of aligners you need
  • Whether one arch or both are being treated
  • What your plan contributes, since some include orthodontic benefit and many do not

Every case is different, so treat any figure here as a starting point and not a quote. We will give you an exact number in writing after an exam, along with what your plan covers.

Questions patients ask

How long does Invisalign take?
It depends entirely on how far the teeth have to move, and we will give you a real estimate at the consultation rather than a brochure number. Cases range from a few months to well over a year.
Can people tell I am wearing them?
Rarely, at conversation distance. That is the main reason patients choose them over fixed braces.
Do I have to wear them all the time?
They need to be in for most of the day and night, and they come out to eat and to brush. Wearing them less than agreed is the usual reason a case runs behind.
